Polygon Inventory

Introduction

Polygon Inventory is an optional module of Polygon Back Office which provides you with the tools to manage your stock in a cost effective manner.  Polygon Inventory allows you to maintain tight control over the usage of individual stock items and to identify any losses or wastage.  Polygon Inventory can automatically generate purchase orders for stock items with a stock quantity which falls below a specified quantity (par level).

When prices change, Polygon Inventory automatically updates the Stock items file with the newly entered price, thus ensuring that your average costs remain updated at all times.  By entering the items sold (unit items and recipes) from your Z-Read figures and defining stock purchases when entering your supplier invoices, Polygon Inventory will reduce and increase the balance of stock accordingly and create the necessary ledger transactions to amend the asset and cost figures for your Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reports.
