This section of the application settings is available from Polygon Back Office and Polygon POS Management. It provides configuration tools for systems with which the Polygon applications integrate directly. That is, where data communication takes place directly from the back office applications rather than via API connection to the Polygon Central web systems.
From Polygon POS Management or Polygon Back Office, Open the Application Settings by selecting File from the main menu, then selecting Application Settings, Highlight the desired settings section under the External System Interfaces heading. |
The following sections are available under the External System Interfaces heading:
General Enable the Xero interface module Ticking this setting will enable the interface and instruct the system to attempt posting sales and ledger reference data to Xero via Polygon Central when sales resets are processed.
**All other interface settings should be configured in direct consultation with Redcat Support
Polygon/Xero GL account assignment Click the pick list icon to view or adjust the list of mapped GL accounts between the two systems
Interface Timeout Enter the amount of time (in seconds) that the system should wait for a response before deeming that a posting has timed out.

General Enable the MYOB interface module Ticking this setting will enable the interface and instruct the system to attempt posting sales and ledger reference data to MYOB via Polygon Central when sales resets are processed.

Polygon/MYOB GL account assignment Click the pick list icon to view or adjust the list of mapped GL accounts between the two systems.
Interface Timeout Enter the amount of time (in seconds) that the system should wait for a response before deeming that a posting has timed out.
