Allow ledger updates from Corporate HQ
This setting only applies to Partner stores that have Polygon Back Office. If enabled, when updates are received from Headquarters the Chart of Accounts file will be updated and if necessary existing accounts will be replaced. If disabled, this will allow the Partner to maintain their own account structure and map any Headquarters accounts as required.
Local/Corporate HQ Ledger account assignment
If you wish to map external General Ledger (GL) codes (eg. account codes received from Headquarters), click on the Line Item button to load the External Ledger Account Assignment form.
Enable quarantined updates
This setting is only applicable to Headquarters applications for a Multi-Location group.
It allows you to place locations into quarantine in order to manage a staged roll out of POS Updates.
For example, if releasing a new menu or updated pricing, not all locations may be going live with this at the same time. Using Quarantined Updates allows you to:
•Freeze the current product data including Keypads, PLUs, Pricing, etc, from being updated at POS whilst menu changes are built at BOH
•Quarantine all or some locations
•Still be able to send updates for other non-product related changes such as new POS Users, POS Hardware changes, etc
•Release each location from quarantine on demand once the new changes are required
IMPORTANT: Quarantined Updates can only be used with assistance from the Redcat Support team, as there is a process required on the Redcat updates server to facilitate the freezing of your current menu data. Before beginning your menu changes, please contact the Redcat Help Desk on 1300 473 322 to schedule this in and to receive detailed instructions on how to proceed.
Sales AutoDownload Service
Users with a multi-location software license have the option to schedule automatic overnight downloading and processing of sales resets. Email service notifications can be setup to automatically send task confirmation messages and error notifications to up to three email addresses. Email addresses to be included in notification messages are recorded in this section.
Note: To use email notifications, your email server and account information must be entered in the Polygon POS Management Application Settings General - Email section.
Revenue Posting Options
Items under this heading allow you to specify how sales information is used when the auto download process runs.
Post Revenue
Tick to post sales revenue to the general ledger when the Sales AutoDownload Service processes new sales resets.
Post Stock
(Polygon Inventory users only) Tick to calculate stock usage and update stock quantities automatically when the Sales AutoDownload service processes new sales resets.

Maximum sales files per download session
This setting will allow larger enterprises to limit the number of sales files that the system will try to process during an automated processing run. The automated runs generally occur once per hour so any remaining sales files will be processed during subsequent processing runs.
Service eMail Notifications
Email notifications including service start, service finish and exceptions notifications can be sent to up to 3 email addresses. Tick this tick box to enable service eMail notifications and then enter up to 3 email address(es) which will be sent email notifications with the status of the auto download service.
An additonal email address is reserved to include a Redcat Support contact if applicable.
Note: In order to use automated email functions, email server settings must be entered in the Polygon POS Management Application Settings in the General > eMail section. See section Polygon POS Management > Application Settings > General - eMail for more information about recording email server settings.
