This module is no longer supported.
Historical transactions may be accessed although entry of new payslips is no longer possible.
This file allows you to create sections for grouping your employees, such as ‘kitchen’ and ‘ floor’, for payroll reporting purposes.
From Polygon Back Office, Select Payroll From the main menu then select Payroll Department Sections File.

The following options are available from the Payroll Department Sections File:
•New - To create a new Payroll Section, click on the New button, then enter the name of the new department section in the Payroll Section Details form. Click OK to save changes;
•Change - To edit an existing Payroll Section, highlight the Payroll Section, then click on the Change button, then change the section name in the Payroll Section Details form. Click OK to save changes;
•Delete - To remove an existing Payroll Section, highlight the payroll section and then click on the Delete button. If an employee has been assigned to this payroll section it will not be possible to delete the department section until the employee has been reassigned to another section;
•Reload List - This button is useful if you have a multi-user license where more than one user can access Polygon Back Office at a time. Click this button to update the list with any changes made by other users such as newly created or recently deleted items;
•Print - This button generates a printable PDF report which shows the Payroll Sections list currently shown in this file. This document can be saved, printed or converted into a CSV file;
•Find - To search for a Payroll Section, type all of, or part of the Payroll Section name into the Find text box. The first Payroll Section to contain this text will be selected.
Once Payroll Department Sections have been created, employees can be linked to them from the Polygon Back Office > Employee Details Form > Payroll Details Tab.
