Specifying the Bill of Materials Modifiers
The modifications that a customer can request at POS (for example “No ice please”), which affect the measure of ingredients used in the drink, are set up as PLUs. These should exist in their own special categories; one for each required size.
The Keypad Categories that these modifier PLUs belong to must have the Bill of Materials Modifier option enabled:
The PLUs should be duplicated for each required size using the Keypad Modifier setting on the PLU.

These PLUs are used as an Optional Choice group in the PLU Ingredients List (QSO) for each main item PLU.
Then, these modifier PLUs and each possible combination of their Optional Choice groups will make up the left column (Y-Axis) of the PLU Bill of Materials Matrix.
