The Department Update form allows you to enter the details for a new department or edit the name of an existing department. Please note: This functionality is only available if you have purchased a multi-department license.
The following information is available: •Department Name - Enter the department's name here •Department Number - Each department must have a unique number. Before creating a department look at the Department No column on the Department Accounts file and select a number which does not occur her and which is also no more than the maximum number of departments as specified in in your software license.
Each installation of Polygon Back Office will have a maximum limit to the number of departments which can be created. If you require more departments contact your supplier to discuss adjusting your license.
