Employee Leave Transaction Details

From Polygon Back Office,

Access the Employees File by clicking the Employees button on the toolbar,

Highlight the employee whose annual or sick leave transactions you wish to view or edit,

Click the Leave Transactions button at the bottom of the form,

The Employee Leave Transactions file for the selected employee will be shown.

Select your filtering requirements and click the Get Records button.  

Click the New button to create a new transaction, or,

Highlight an existing transaction and click the Change to view/edit this transaction.  

The following information is required when creating an sick leave or annual leave transaction:

•Date - Enter the date of this transaction (in dd/mm/yy format);

•Debit/Credit - Select Debit to decrease the leave balance or select Credit to increase the balance;

•Hours - How many hours will be credited or debited with this transaction;

•Cost per Hour - This figure is used to calculate the Balance($) totals in the Employee Leave Transactions File;

•Total Cost (read-only) - This figure shows the total cost of this leave transaction.  It is calculated based on the Hours x Cost Per Hour;

•Transaction Description - Type a description for this transaction in this text box.

The Notes tab is a free form field which allows you to enter additional information relevant to this leave transaction.

Note: To easily see if notes have been entered for this transaction.  Look for a magnifying glass icon shown on the notes tab.  If the magnifying glass icon isn't shown, there are no notes for this transaction.
