Top  Previous  Next

The POLYGON PAYROLL module reached end of life on 30 June 2021 and this was communicated to all clients licensed with this module.

This module is no longer supported.

Historical transactions may be accessed although entry of new payslips is no longer possible.

To enable emailing of employee payslips rather than printing hard copies, enter employee email addresses for your employees in the Employee Details form and you have entered your own email account details in the Polygon POS Management > Application Settings > General - Email section, you may choose the email employee payslips rather than printing hard copies.

To print and/or email payslips:

From Polygon Back Office;

Access the Reports File by selecting Reports from the main menu or using the Reports button on the toolbar;

Highlight the PaySlip Run Report under the Polygon Payroll heading and then click the Select button;

Enter the Pay Week Ending date;

To print generate a payslip for an individual employee, tick the Nominate Employee tick box, then select the employee name.  If this tick box is un-ticked the report will include all payslips for the specified week.

To email these payslips, place a tick mark in the Generate to PDF and email payslips box.  If this tick box is not ticked the report will generate a printable payslips which will not be emailed.

Enter the Message Subject and Message Text for the email message. Note: Each employee will get the same message text;

Click the Print button to run the report.

Polygon Payroll will generate a PDF file for each payslip and attach them to the email messages sent to each employee.

At the completion of the email process, the report will display with the payslips, you may choose to print this, or close the report without printing.

If there are any errors during the email process, a separate report containing the error log will be displayed.
