Continuous Flow Zones

Top  Previous  Next

Continuous Flow Zones are are utilised to designate areas on the production serving counter where items are placed when they relate to the same order.  This is designed to increase accuracy when bagging orders and minimise mis-bagged or missed items.  You can only use Continuous Flow Zones if you have a Polygon POS installation at the store.

A Continuous Flow Zone is created by assigning specific sale types for that Zone.

Zones are then assigned to POS Locations, and the Bays for each location defined.

For example, zones could be setup like this to handle the On Premise and Off Premise orders.

Zones are applicable to all POS Locations, but Bays can be programmed for individual locations.
