For Polygon POS users only, this form is used to create a the external mapping required for each PLU and modifier used when ordering drinks.
From Polygon POS Management, Select Products from the main menu and select PLU Code Mapping. Use the NEW button.

PLU External Code Details
•Select the PLU from the PLU file using browse button at the end of the field to display the file.
•Choose the relevant Format Label from the drop-down list
•Enter the External Code relevant to that PLU and Format Label
•Use the OK button to save the PLU External Code Details Form.
Each parent PLU (drink) should define the format labels:
•PRODUCT_ID
•SIZE_ID
Each modifier PLU (ice/sugar) should define, as applicable, the format labels:
•TEMP_ID
•SUGAR_LEVEL_ID
Only one (1) mapping is possible for each PLU/Format Label combination.
Tip for faster programming.
To speed the programming of the PLU External Code Mappings, you could:
•program the PRODUCT_ID code map for a PLU
•highlight the record created and use the New From button
•change the PRODUCT_ID format label to SIZE_ID
•adjust the External Code
To enable the functionality at POS that will utilise the PLU Code Mapping ensure that the setting is turned on in the POS Location System Settings.
