PLU Code Mapping are utilised by the POS to send a string to a label printer to be converted to a QR code that contains all details required for a drink-making machine to produce the item. They are only available to users with a Polygon POS installation at the store.
PLU Code Mapping is configurable only in a HQ database.
To enable the functionality at POS that will utilise the PLU Code Mapping ensure that the setting is turned on in the POS Location System Settings.
The following options are available from the PLU External Code Map File: •To Create a New PLU Code Map - click on the New button to access the PLU External Code Update Form. •To Create a New PLU Code Map using an existing PLU Code Map as the base - highlight the require record and click on the New From button. •To Edit a PLU Code Map - highlight the require record and click on the Change button. •To Delete a PLU Code Map - highlight the require record and click the Delete button. •Reload List - Clicking this button will refresh the displayed data and show any changes made by other users; •To Print - Clicking on the Print List button generates a PDF report which shows the currently listed PLU Code Maps. This report can be saved, printed or converted to CSV format;
