Stock Transfers File - For Multi-Department Users

Please note: This feature is only available if you have purchased a multi-department license.

If your Polygon Back Office License is registered for Multiple Departments, Polygon Inventory allows you to record the physical transfer of stock from one department to another via the Stock Transfers File.  The Stock Transfers File lists all previously recorded stock transfers for each department and allows you to create, view, modify and delete stock transfers.  For more information about creating departments see section Accounts > Department Accounts File.

The following options are available from the Stock Transfers File:

Filtering - The list of stock transfers are filtered by department.  Select a Source Department at the top left of the form to view transfers from this department.  

New / New From - To create a new Stock Transfer click the New button, or select an existing stock transfer and click the New From button to create a new Stock Transfer based on the currently selected Stock Transfer. This will load the Stock Transfer Details form where you can enter the specific details for this transfer.

Change - To view or modify an existing stock transfer, highlight an existing Stock Transfer, then click the Change button. This will load the Stock Transfer Details form which can be used to view and modify this stock transfer details.

Delete - Clicking the Delete button will remove the currently selected Stock Transfer.  

Reload List - This button is useful if you have a multi-user license where more than one user can access Polygon Back Office at a time.  Click this button to update the stock transfers list with any changes made by other users such as newly created or recently deleted items.  

Print List - Clicking this button will generate a PDF report which shows the data currently listed in the Stock Transfers File.  This report can be saved, printed or exported to a CSV file which can be imported into spreadsheet applications.
