POS Sale Details

From Polygon POS Management,

Access the Sales Log by Sale ID form by either:

•Selecting Sales from the main menu, then select Sales Log by Sale ID, or,

•Click on the Sales Log button on the toolbar.

Then select the sale which you wish to view and click the Change button.

The following general transaction information is shown at the top of the form:

•Transaction date - This date can be modified if changes are required;

•Transaction time - This time can be modified if changes are required;

•Sale ID - This number is used to identify this sale and can be used when searching for this sale at a later time;

•Table Number (OTC stands for 'over the counter');

•PAX (number of covers);

•Opened By - The POS Staff Member who opened the sale;

•Finalised By - The POS Staff Member who finalised the sale.

Each item purchased with this sale is listed under the Items heading with the following details:

•The time of the order (The time of payment for OTC Sales)

•The name of the staff member who recorded the order.

•The PLU ordered;

•The quantity ordered;

•The price of the PLU;

•The extended dollar value (quantity x price);

•The GST amount;

Each payment recorded for this order is listed in the payments list with the following information:

•Time of payment;

•Media Name (How the payment was made e.g Cash);

•Amount paid.

The following totals are shown at the bottom of the form:

•Subtotal - The total price of the ordered PLUs

•Tips - Any tips included in the sale;

•Paid - The amount paid;

•Change - The amount of change given;

•Sale GST - Any GST paid with this sale.
