If you will be scanning product barcodes at the FOH when recording sales, the barcodes of PLUs which will be scanned must be recorded at the BOH. The barcode or barcodes of a PLU can be accessed from the PLU details form by clicking the PLU Barcodes button.
From Polygon POS Management, Access the PLUs file by clicking the PLUs button on the toolbar, Then select the PLU which you would like to record a barcode for and click the Change button, This will load the PLU Details form. Click the PLU Barcodes button to load the PLU Barcodes form for this PLU.

The PLU Barcodes File lists each barcodes associated with the selected PLU on a separate line
•Adding Barcodes - To add a new Barcode, type the barcode number into a new line.
Handy Hint - If you will be recording a number of barcodes, data entry can be made easier by attaching a barcode scanner to your BOH computer. Barcodes can be quickly entered by adding a new line to the Barcodes File and then scanning the barcode while the text cursor is in the barcodes text area.
•Removing Barcodes - To remove a barcode, delete the barcode text using the Del or Backspace key on your keyboard.
