Printer Sets are utilised to create configuration profiles based on Sale Type filtering and Category assignment for use with the peripherals in your POS Network. They are only available to users with a Polygon POS installation at the store.
Printer Sets are configurable only in a HQ database, and will flow to Partner databases to be available for assignment on peripherals.
It is recommended that Printer Sets be created for the standard operational environment of the business. Any stores with slightly different configurations or requirements should complete programming in their partner database and refrain from using the Printer Sets.
The following options are available from the Printer Sets File: •To Create a New Printer Set - click on the New button to access the Printer Set Update Form. •To Create a New Printer Set using an existing Printer Set as the base - highlight the require record and click on the New From button. •To Edit a Printer Set - highlight the require record and click on the Change button. •To Delete a Printer Set - highlight the require record and click the Delete button. •Reload List - Clicking this button will refresh the displayed data and show any changes made by other users; •To Print - Clicking on the Print List button generates a PDF report which shows the currently listed Printer Sets. This report can be saved, printed or converted to CSV format;
