Please note: This feature is only available if you have purchased a multi-department license.
Polygon Inventory allows you to record the physical transfer of stock from one department to another using the stock transfer feature. When a stock transfer is frequently used, time can be saved by adding a stock transfer template which records the details of a frequently used transaction and is then used to fill in the details of a stock transfer when required. This section explains how manage Stock Transfer Templates.
The following options are available from the Stock Transfer Templates Form: •Filters - The Stock Transfer Templates File can be filtered by Source Department (where stock will be transferred from) and Target Department (where stock will be transferred to). Selecting All for both filters will display all Stock Transfer Templates; •New / New From - To create a new Stock Transfer Template, click the New button, or select an existing stock transfer and click the New From button to create a new Stock Transfer Template based on the currently selected Stock Transfer Template. This will load the Stock Transfer Template Details form where you can enter the specific details for this stock transfer template; •Change - To view or modify an existing stock transfer template, highlight the Stock Transfer Template, then click the Change button. This will load the Stock Transfer Template Details form which can be used to view and modify this stock transfer template; •Delete - Clicking the Delete button will remove the currently selected Stock Transfer; •Reload List - This button is useful if you have a multi-user license where more than one user can access Polygon Back Office at a time. Click this button to update the stock transfer templates list with any changes made by other users such as newly created or recently deleted items. •Print List - Clicking this button will generate a PDF report which shows the data currently listed in the Stock Transfer Templates File. This report can be saved, printed or exported to a CSV file which can be imported into spreadsheet applications.
