Polygon POS offers an integrated drive through solution partnered with Summit Innovations’ Drive Thru COD (Customer Order Display).
The interface empowers a Polygon POS terminal situated in an internal drive through POS lane to pass order information to the COD located externally and within view of the customer vehicle.
Customers will enter the drive through and place their order via the speaker while the POS Operator enters the requested items on the POS. The order will display on the COD for the customer line item by line item as it is entered.
The Summit suite can be configured to have the COD display both product images as items are sold, and images for suggested upsell options (*managed by Summit).
The Summit Drive Thru interface recognises the Sale Mode information compiled to display on a Polygon Promo Player and passes this same information via TCP to the Summit COD (Customer Order Display). ONE Polygon POS Terminal dedicated to drive through operations can be configured to interface to ONE Summit COD. If two drive through lanes (and therefore two Summit COD) are required there will need to be TWO Polygon POS Terminals. The POS terminals must be dedicated to drive through operations as EVERY sale entered will be passed to the connected Summit COD. |
