The following options are available from the Employee Payments File:
•To Create an Employee Payment - Click the New button. For Salaried Employees this will display the Payslip Details form. For Wage Earners this will display the Timesheet Details form followed by the Payslip Details form;
For step by step instructions explaining how to create Employee Payments, see section Creating Employee Payments.
•To Edit an Existing Employee Payment - Payroll entries may not be changed. If an error has been made entering a payroll, the payroll must be deleted and re-entered. This is to ensure that changes are not recorded accidentally when payroll entries are viewed.
•To View an Existing Employee Payment - Highlight the Employee Payment and click the View button. This load the Employee Payslip Details form which shows payment related information;
•To Delete an Employee Payment - Highlight the Employee Payment and then click on the Delete button, then click Yes to confirm the deletion. It should be noted that this will delete not only the timesheet/payroll entry but also the associated payment type (e.g. If the payment was recorded by cheque, the cheque will also be deleted).
•To View the Employee Payment in the Reference Viewer - Highlight the Payment, click on it with the mouse's right button, select View Reference from the popup menu. Click here for more information about the Reference Viewer.
•Reload List - This button is used in multi-user installations where multiple users may be entering data at the same time. Clicking this button will refresh the displayed data and include any changes which have been made by other users;
•To Print - Click on the Print Payslip button to generate a PDF report which shows the currently listed Employee Payments. This report can be saved, printed or converted to CSV format.
•Find Ref - To search for a particular Employee Payment, type the Employee Transaction Reference number into the Find box. The system will highlight the first listed item to contain this text in its Transaction Reference number. Note: The search only applies to currently listed items. If an item has been filtered out it will not be included in the search. See the Filters section below.
