Employee Work Types

Top  Previous  Next

The POLYGON PAYROLL module reached end of life on 30 June 2021 and this was communicated to all clients licensed with this module.

This module is no longer supported.

Historical transactions may be accessed although entry of new payslips is no longer possible.

When the Polygon Payroll add on-module is installed, Employee Work Types can be used to associate staff shifts to a range of different work types.  The work types are in turn linked to different Ledger Accounts.  This lets you organise wage expenses more clearly by assigning different shifts to different ledger accounts.  For example Standard shifts could be recorded against a Salaries and Wages expense account while trainee shifts can be recorded against a staff training expense account.  This allows you to easily see where your expenses are going.
