Summary

Single Touch Payroll (STP) is an initiative from the ATO to streamline payroll reporting.  This process reports salaries and wages, PAYG withholdings and superannuation details to the ATO each time you pay your employees.  You must report on or before the payment date for each payroll run.

From 1 July 2018, STP became mandatory for employers with 20 or more employees.  From 1 July 2019, all Australian small business owners are required to report their payroll information.

Redcat’s Polygon Payroll will compile the required payroll details and create an export file in .csv format.

Redcat has partnered with Single Touch Pty Ltd (singletouch.com.au) to securely transfer the .csv files to the ATO servers.
